As you may have heard from our Instagram post, (if you aren’t already, give us a follow at Pair of Trends) we got a new piece of clothing to share with you! Over the knee boots are making a HUGE statement in the streets. We both loved the Stewart Weitzman Lowland Boots the day we saw them. Determined to find a pair similar to those, we did some hard searching and ended up stumbling upon these beauties. These boots are from Zara, and for a cheap price, they are made very well. They come right to our knee caps, so they aren’t totally OTK, but it works. Here’s the most amazing thing about these boots: they stay up. On every boot we’ve come across, the reviews all said the same thing, “They don’t stay up.” That is not a problem with these. We paired the stunners with a rust colored suede skirt, and a black tee for simplicity. And with simplicity, sometimes you need a bit of jewelry to give it some spunk. So we added a two layer tassel necklace. Here’s a fun little trick to keep your boots standing up in your closet: Cut a pool noodle in half and put them in the boots. That’ll help them stay up right and not get wrinkled.
