It has always been our goal to study abroad while in college, and now the time has finally come! We are so excited for this semester, which we will be spending in our favorite city – Berlin, Germany!

German has been in our lives for a long time. We’ve been studying the language for about 7 years now and it was our older sister, Justine, who sparked our interest in the subject. She took us on a trip to Berlin, Hamburg, and Copenhagen in 2019 and ever since then, we’ve been wanting to get back to the city that stole our hearts.

We’re both pursuing majors in German and Business Administration. This is an opportunity of a lifetime to improve our German speaking and writing skills. Because let’s be honest, speaking a new language is one of the toughest things to do. Being submerged in the language 24/7 will definitely be a change, but a change we’re ready for.

Our program has been working intently with us to make sure we’re safe and following COVID-19 protocol before, during, and after our semester abroad. Our group excursions will stay within Germany, and we will be sure to follow all COVID-19 protocols when visiting other countries ourselves.
